I have a hard drive on my Windows 10 computer with Windows and programs installed. Recently, the hard drive has slowed down, so I want to replace it. But how about my operating system and programs on it? If I clone a hard drive, will I have to install OS on it and all the programs?

No, if you clone a hard drive, you do not have to install your operating system and programs. This is because cloning a hard drive will copy your operating system and everything else, including the programs, files, etc.

In the concept of cloning, everything is copied, including the relevant information, all available space, all files, the partition data, and the uninitialized sectors.
