Clonezilla Refuses to Clone from Dying SSD to NVME

I use a 1TB SSD, but it recently showed some bad symbols. My computer runs much slower than before and is maxed out at a constant 100% usage, taking the P C with it. I tried to use Clonezilla to clone the SSD data to a new NVMe SSD, but it refused to clone the SSD. What can I do with it? Are there any other tools available to clone dying SSDs to NVMe?
