Can I Move Fortnite From C Drive to D Drive

Hi, I need some help to transfer Fortnite between two drives. The game is installed on my C drive by default and I didn't care. But now my C drive is running out of space so I want to move it to my D drive. Can I move Fortnite from C drive to D drive without reinstalling it? Thanks in advance!

You can move Fortnite from C drive to D drive by cutting the whole game folder to the target location and then verifying the game files in Epic Games Launcher. Here's how:

Step 1. Go to the Fortnite installation directory. (Default location: C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Fortnite)

Step 2. Create a temporary folder in D drive and copy the Fortnite folder to it.

Step 3. Open Epic Games Launcher and go to "Library."

Step 4. Click on the 3-dot beside Fortnite and choose "Uninstall."

Step 5. After that, install the game again at your target location.

Step 6. Wait for the download to reach around 3%, then cancel the installation.

Step 7. Go to the temporary folder where you put all the Fortnite files before. Copy and paste them to the new installation directory. Click on "Replace" if prompted.

Step 8. Resume the installation and wait for the client to verify game files.

Then, you should be able to launch Fortnite from D drive.

However, some players reported that this method doesn't work for them so here comes another option - use a professional program transfer tool like EaseUS Todo PCTrans.
