Hi, I wonder What is the file type used by Windows Easy Transfer? Does it support programs too? If not, is there any other transfer tool that can help me transfer my files and apps from my old PC to a new one? Thanks in advance!

Windows Easy Transfer allows users to transfer data files, folders, user accounts, and settings. It can be used on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1.
However, Windows Easy Transfer has not been available since Windows 10. If you are using Windows 10 or 11, the best choice is to download a third-party file and app transfer tool like EaseUS Todo PCTrans Professional.
