How to Resolve: The Disk Is Write Protected
I received the 'The disk is write protected' error message while using both pen drives. I have tried using the registry editor following the instructions mentioned online, but it didn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

Write protection is an ability of the disk that prevent new information from being written or old information from being changed. The disk is on write protection means data can be read but cannot be added or modified. Luckily, you don't need to worry when the pen drive is write-protected. You can first check the physical write-protection switch of the pen drive:
- Check if the switch is on the lock position, and make sure the switch is "OFF."

Here are the easy steps:
Step 1. Launch the EaseUS Partition Master, select the "Toolkit" section, and click "Write Protection."

Here is how to do it:
Step 1. Press the "Windows + R" keys and type cmd in the box to open "Command Prompt."
Step 2. Type each command line as follow in Windows, and hit "Enter" after each command.
- diskpart
- list disk
- select disk #(Replace # with the write-protected device number.)
- attributes disk clear readonly
Step 3. When you finish writing protection removal, type exit to close "Diskpart."
