In Windows 10 Pro, I cannot move my HDD partition immediately after (to the right) the volume. The extend volume option is gray in disk management opened as administrator. Please assist me.

Regarding the greyed-out "Extend Volume" option, there is some information that you need to learn: the Disk Management tool in Windows can only merge the unallocated space into the adjacent partition. In other words, you must ensure the partition you want to extend is next to the free space. In this case, you can choose a handful partition manager or remove one partition to create new free space.
Way 1. Use a Better Partition Tool
However, the 3rd party tool can help you remove the restriction and extend the partition on the HDD without contiguous unallocated space. EaseUS Partition Master is one of the top partition managers, which enables users to extend, shrink, and create partitions in simple steps:
Now, you can refer to this tutorial to extend the partition with non-adjacent free space:
Step 1. Navigate to the "Partition Manager" tab in the EaseUS Partition Master.
Step 2. Drag and drop the end of the data partition into the free space after hitting the "Resize/Move" option and pressing "OK."
Step 3. Click "Apply" to confirm the action and select "Done" to quit the window.
Way 2. Delete the Partition to Create a New Unallocated Space
The second method is more complicated and risky. You can back up the full data on an adjacent partition and delete it to make new space for partition extension. Follow the guide below to learn how to delete the partition:
Step 1. Locate the partition you want to remove on the HDD.
Step 2. Right-click this data partition and choose "Delete."
Step 3. Click "Yes" > "Execute xx Task" > "Apply" to execute the operation.
Now, you can extend the data partition on your HDD with Disk Management or EaseUS Partition Master. Read the following post and learn more:
