Is Baldur's Gate 3 Playable Without SSD

I just bought Baldur's Gate 3 on Steam but I realized that I don't have an SSD as the PC requirements described. Is Baldur's Gate 3 playable on HDD? Will there be any potential risk if I do so? Thanks in advance!

Although you can run Baldur's Gate 3 on an HDD, there are certain shortcomings. For example, you may encounter longer loading screens, slower texture loading, stuttering while gaming, etc. By contrast, SSD is faster and more reliable. It enhances the overall performance of your system, including fast boot and load times. Thus, it is advisable to install Baldur's Gate 3 on an SSD for better gaming performance and experience.
