Is There Any Way to Merge Partitions on a Full Hard Drive in Windows 7?

I currently have a 2 TB hard drive partitioned into C and D. Is it possible to combine the two partitions of the 2 TB HDD into one without transferring or backing up the data? Both partitions are more than 80% filled, so there's a lot of data to relocate.

According to your description, you want to merge partitions on a full hard drive in Windows 7 without reinstalling or backing up data. However, you can't perform the merge procedure on the Windows built-in Disk Management tool. Don't panic. I will introduce an ideal utility to merge your C and D partitions without losing data - EaseUS Partition Master.

With a few clicks, this tool can help you resize, remove, and merge partitions on your hard drive. In addition, it is highly compatible with all Windows systems. Follow the simple guide below to combine the partitions on your hard drive in Windows 7:

Important: Any wrong operation may cause unnecessary data loss or hard drive issues, which require a backup in advance.

Step 1. Install and activate EaseUS Partition Master, locate the C drive, and select "Merge."

Step 2. Choose the D drive next to it to combine. Confirm the action by clicking the "OK" button.

Step 3. Select the following option: "Execute Task" > "Apply" to begin merging.

After combining two partitions, you can restart the computer to see if it works.

I have noticed that you have already used up 80% of the space on your hard drive, which may have declined its performance. If you want to maintain optimal hard drive performance, EaseUS Partition Master will have your back with its CleanGenius tool.
