What Read/Write Speeds Do I Need for a Gaming SSD

What kind of read/write speed does a game SSD need to guarantee the gaming experience? I want to buy an SSD for gaming, but there are so many different SSDs on the market, and they all vary in speed. Can someone tell me the best read/write speed for an SSD to run the game on?

Gaming SSDs require a combination of read/write speeds, depending on your system and the type of games you'll be playing. Typically, you'll want at least 500 MB/s to read speed, but if you're playing high-end AAA games, you should look for a drive with read speeds of up to 550 MB/s or better. At least 500 MB/s is recommended for write speeds, but if you're playing more advanced or demanding games, you'll want 550 MB/s or more. Choosing the right SSD for your gaming system can make a huge difference to your gaming experience and is important to consider when building or upgrading a gaming PC.

In addition to speed, SSD capacity is also important. For 50+ GB games, it doesn't take much to fill up the SSD. So, I suggest that you consider capacity and speed, combined with your budget, and make a smart decision.

And here, based on my personal experience, I suggest you buy some SSDs and test their speeds via EaseUS Partition Master. This tool can test the speed of your random read/write and sequential read and write. With its help, you can make the best choice.
