Knox recovery tool is now available to help recover lost data from Samsung My Knox, including contacts, pictures, images, documents, audio files and more.
Samsung My Knox app allows users to move files such as work documents, images, contacts, emails, audio files and more from personal space into the My Knox space (container). The data inside the container are fully encrypted and nobody can grant themselves rights to access or unlock it without the password, pin or fingerprint.
To move files to My Knox container, in your personal space:
1. Highlight or check the desired file by long-pressing it.
2. On the top right of the screen, tap the More button.
3. Tap Move to Personal mode or Move to Knox.
My Knox gives users a "backup and restores" option to prevent data loss. To backup and restore My Knox data, you need a Samsung account.
1. Open the My Knox app.
2. Tap Knox Settings.
3. Tap Backup and restore.
If Knox data and files were accidentally deleted, wiped, removed or erased, you can use its backup and restore option to restore lost data from Knox backup. Whereas if no backups were created, find a third-party Android data recovery tool to help with Samsung recovery.
Since your data files such as contacts, pictures, documents, music, video files, and emails were originally saved in the personal space in your phone's memory, EaseUS MobiSaver for Android can help you recover the original data back. Following is how MobiSaver finds your data that moved to My Knox app and later got lost.
Step 1. Connect correctly your Samsung phone to a Windows computer. Launch EaseUS MobiSaver for Android. Click the "Scan" button.
Step 2. The software is now working very hard to scan your phone and find lost data.
Step 3. Browse the found data in categories to see if the software had found Knox data for you. If yes, select the files and click "Recover" button.
