Hi, I just realized that I can't extend FAT32 partitions on Windows 10 and was wondering why not. The option is greyed out in Disk Management. Is there any other way I can do this? Thanks in advance!
Due to Windows limitations, you are unable to expand partitions formatted as FAT32 to larger than 32GB. That's why the Extend Volume is greyed out in Disk Management.
But do not worry. A third-party disk management tool like EaseUS Partition Master can help you extend the volume for free.
This tool breaks the FAT32 partition size limit and can extend your FAT32 partition to larger than 32GB.
Follow the steps below to learn how:
Step 1. Open EaseUS Partition Master and select the target partition in the Partition Manager tab.
Step 2. Right-click on it and select "Extend/Shrink."
Step 3. Drag the dot to extend the partition and then click "OK" > "Execute 1 Task(s)" to start the process.
