Hi, I just got a Kingston A400 SSD from my friend, and I'm not sure about its warranty. Is there any way I can find my Kingston SSD serial number? Thanks in advance!
You can run the "dir" command in CMD to check the warranty serial number of your Kingston SSD.
Step 1. Press "Win" + "R" to open the Run dialog, type cmd, and hit "Enter" to open Command Prompt.
Step 2. Type the command dir drive letter: (replace "drive letter" with the letter assigned to your Kingston SSD) and press "Enter."
The serial number will be displayed in the window.
If your Command Prompt somehow doesn't work, a third-party disk manager can also help. EaseUS Partition Master is one of the free tools that can help you check SSD serial number.
Here's how:
Step 1. Launch EaseUS Partition Master and go to the "Partition Manager" tab.
Step 2. Locate your Kingston SSD and click the small disk icon in the upper right corner of the your SSD section.
Step 3. In the new window, you should be able to view its serial number, along with disk health, temperature, power-on count, power-on hours, etc.
