Hello. I have bought a new M.2 NVMe SSD for gaming recently. After I installed it into my computer correctly, it showed up in Device Manager and BIOS. However, when I try to partition the SSD, I can't find it in Disk Management. I have tried reconnecting it, but nothing has changed. What should I do to fix this? Appreciate any help!
If your new M.2 SSD doesn't show up in Disk Management, you can first try to initialize the SSD via a professional third-party tool. To do this in an easy and fast way, you can download reliable software - EaseUS Partition Master Professional.
This powerful tool has the ability to detect and initialize the SSD with a few simple clicks.
Step 1. Launch EaseUS Partition Master and move to the Partition Manager tab.
Step 2. Right-click on your new M.2 SSD and choose "Initialize to MBR" or "Initialize to GPT" according to your own needs.
Step 3. Click "Execute Task" and "Apply" to save the changes.
After the initialization, you should assign a new drive letter to your SSD. You can also perform the task via EaseUS Partition Master:
Step 1. Right-click on your target SSD in EaseUS Partition Master and then choose "Change Drive Letter."
Step 2. Select an available letter for the SSD and hit "OK" > "Execute Task."
The M.2 SSD should be able to show up on your computer now. If not, check the following page to find out more solutions.
