How Long Does It Take to Clone a 1TB HDD to SSD?

I recently bought a new 1 TB SSD because my HDD is way too slow. But, careful as I am, I don’t feel like finishing the process without any preparation. So please explain to me how long it takes to clone all my files (games, images, music, etc.) from my 1TB HDD to my SSD.
