Can I Make A Copy of My Game Drive

Hi! I plan to install a larger external hard drive so that I can have more storage space for my games. The problem is I have too many games on my old drive, including Steam, Epic, Blizzard games, and so on. How can I copy all my games and their clients to the external hard drive without reinstallation and still be able to play them? Any help will be appreciated!

Yes, you can make a copy of the entire game drive.

To copy all your games and clients to another drive and ensure they are available on the new disk, the most efficient way is to clone the whole disk. Thus, you need professional disk cloning software. EaseUS Partition Master is one of the best because it has a clear interface and comprehensive disk and partition management features.

This tool allows you to upgrade to a larger hard drive by cloning all data on the disk to another one without data loss. It even supports system disk cloning. With this feature, you can have all your games cloned to the new disk and still be able to play them without downloading and installing them again.

Here are the detailed steps:

Step 1. Open EaseUS Partition Master and go to "Disk Clone."

Step 2. Choose "Clone Data Disk" and select your game drive.

Step 3. Then, select the destination disk to store the data.

Step 4. Select a disk layout option and start the process.
