I have a USB having multiple partitions, and now, I want to format it on Windows 11. However, I tried to format it via Disk Management, only to find that all options grayed out. So what should I do to format my USB with multiple partitions?

Is the format option greyed out? It is common because Disk Management doesn't allow you to directly format unallocated space. You need to create a partition using the unallocated space before you can format it. Disk Management is a utility to manage your USB; however, it has some limitations. For example, you can't format a hard drive or a USB (larger than 32 GB) to FAT32.
Hence, you can turn to another third-party format utility, EaseUS Partition Master.
With its help, you can format your unallocated USB by creating a partition on the unallocated space and selecting the wanted file system format during the process. Now, download EaseUS Partition Master and follow the steps below to format your USB:
Step 1. Start EaseUS Partition Master on your PC.
Step 2. Right-click the unallocated space on your USB in the main window and choose "Create."
Step 3. Modify the new partition's partition size, file system, and label before clicking "OK" to proceed.
Step 4. Choose "Execute 1 Task" and then "Apply" to create a new partition on your USB.
After this process, you can format your USB successfully. Besides, with the help of EaseUS Partition Master, you can create partitions on a USB drive or merge partitions on a USB drive.
Hope this tool and this guide can help you!
