Is It Safe to Create Several Partitions on NVMe SSD

Excuse me; I plan to upgrade my existing SSD NVME to another SSD NVME with a larger capacity, and I want to clean it to install the OS. Is it safe to make multiple partitions on NVMe SSD? If any, which part of the SSD is affected by this operation? Thanks.

First of all, I need to answer you clearly; creating multiple partitions on an NVMe SSD will not affect its performance. And multiple partitions are helpful when you want to clone Windows 10 to larger SSD since it will keep various documents, applications, and OS in good order. However, the premise is that you use a reliable tool. Some tools may cause data loss during the process, especially when you are not a professional in computing.

EaseUS Partition Master can help you create multiple partitions on an SSD safely, and when you don't want to have multiple partitions, you can merge partitions on SSD without deleting any data via this tool.

So, here is how to use EaseUS Partition Master to safely create partitions on an SSD:

Step 1. Launch EaseUS Partition Master. Right-click on the unallocated space on your SSD and select Create. If there is no unallocated space, use "ShrinkVolume" to shrink the original partition to obtain unallocated space.

Step 2. Adjust the partition size, file system, and label of the new partition, and click "OK" to continue.

Step 3. Click the "Execute 1 Task" button and click "Apply" to create a new partition on your SSD.

Repeat the process and create more partitions (if you need them) on this SSD. Reload the page, and you can see the partitions.
