Fixed: Not Enough Space to Copy Files on Hard Drive/USB/SD

Destination disk has not enough space to copy file, help!

"Help! I can’t copy files to my USB flash drive since the computer warns me that the disk has not enough space. 

I don’t want to buy a new drive. Any free and reliable way help me out? How?"

As we all know, when the destination disk has not enough space, the file transferring or file copying process will not succeed. Mostly, when users are facing such a problem, many of them would choose to delete or remove some useless or large files to other location. 
And some of them may think to encrypt big files or folders in the destination disk. If you neither want to delete files nor encrypt data on the target drive where you want to copy files to, just follow and find solutions in the below.

How to Fix 'Not Enough Space to Copy File' Error on Disk/USB/SD

First. IMPORTANT: Don’t do anything to the data in the original disk

To keep your data safe, we recommend you do nothing to the data saved in the original disk or hard drive in case of unexpected data loss.

Second. Clear and Free Up space on target disk or external storage device

As time goes by, the computer’s or storage devices’ space could be occupied by useless junk files and then total free space would be smaller and smaller. 
So the other way to fix ‘Copy file failure with not enough space’ error is to clear junk files and extend space on your hard drive or external storage devices such as USB and SD card.

#1. Clear junk files and useless large files to free up space on USB/SD or hard drive
