Can I Transfer Files From PC to PC Using WiFi

Hello! I need to transfer important files from my PC to another one. Unfortunately, I don't have a USB disk by hand right now. Is there any other way I can do this? Can I transfer files from PC to PC using WiFi since they are all connected to the same one? Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can transfer files from PC to PC via WiFi by performing the "Nearby sharing" feature or third-party file transfer software.

Windows 10/11 offers an excellent feature called "Nearby Sharing," which allows you to share files between two PCs that are connected to the same WiFi. With this practical function, you can transfer files from PC to PC without a USB disk or other physical devices.

You can follow the instructions below to perform the task:

Step 1. Go to "Settings > System > Shared Experience" and turn on "Nearby sharing."

Step 2. Select the sharing pattern and then choose a location where you want to save the received files.

Step 3. Now, right-click on the file you want to share and select "Share."

Step 4. Select the target device, and it will receive a notification. Hit "Save" or "Save & Open" to start the transfer.

However, if your file is too large or super important, you need professional file transfer software to ensure the transfer process is safe and successful. I would like to recommend EaseUS Todo PCTrans Professional for its clear interface and easy-to-use transfer features. It has a specialized feature that can help you transfer files, accounts, and even programs from PC to PC with security.
