Transferring photos from Windows 11 to a USB flash drive enhances security and makes it easier to carry around. I have used several methods to transfer photos. Both automatic and manual techniques can achieve the goal. I will share with you the method I used:
Method 1. Use a Third-Party Transfer Tool
If you have a lot of photos, the manual method can be very time-consuming; EaseUS Todo PCTrans provides a Backup and restore method to transfer files from a hard disk to another hard disk or from a PC to other external storage devices.
Download EaseUS Todo PCTrans and refer to the following method:
- Launch EaseUS Todo PCTrans and click "Backup & Restore" mode to create a backup file of the source hard disk.
- Select the photo files you want to transfer to another hard disk and those on the source drive to backup.
- Follow the same procedure to get to the step of selecting the transfer method and click on "Restore."
Method 2. Using Copy and Paste
If you don't have a large number of photos, you can use the manual method to migrate photos quickly:
- Insert a USB stick into the USB port on your device.
- Find the location of the photos you want to transfer in Windows File Explorer.
