Is It Possible to Merge Two Drives Without Losing Data?

I have a computer with a 500GB SSD. C and D are the two sections of the disk. Windows is in C, while all the data files, including text and photo documents, are in D. Now that I see the futility of this division, I would like to combine the two divisions.

Yes, merging two drives without losing data is possible if you choose the right tool. The Windows-based tool has no merge volumes option and many restrictions on multiple partition management tasks. A reputable partition manager, such as EaseUS Partition Master, is the simplest way to merge the C and D drives in Windows. With its "Merge" feature, you may easily merge partitions without losing data.

Since D drive may store some system files, many users want to utilize its free space while keeping it. Fortunately, EaseUS Partition Master has an "Allocate Space" advantage that allows you to allocate free space from another drive without deleting it. Moreover, this feature can take free space from non-adjacent partitions.

Option 2. Allocate Free Space With D Drive Keeping

Step 1. Right-click the D drive with free space under the "Partition Manager" tab and select "Allocate Space."

Step 2. Click the C drive and drag its panel rightward to increase space. Then click "OK" to continue.
